ED 4767 - Web-Based Teaching

Hey, my name is Jesse, I am a 5th student studying education and the University of Lethbridge. I just wanted to take a quick second to underline that this is a public blog where I will post intellectual thoughts, ideas, and controversies at times.

We all have a voice. We may speak it or write it. Blogs allow us to take a position on an issue and express how we feel. The purpose of this blog will be to highlight my endeavors in learning about teaching online. Through the use of new media formats, academic journals, and reflective practices I hope to create an engaging blog where my learning can intersect with other teachers' practices. In retrospect, I hope I will have created a path about the different web-based teaching strategies and will act as a catalyst for myself when and if I undertake online teaching. Finally, although this blog post is short I want my readers to understand that this blog is a tool for them as much as it is for me.
