During my professional semester, I want to develop more effective lesson plans. To accomplish this, I must ensure that my plans are clear and concise. The language used needs to be student-friendly so each individual knows what needs to be done. By doing this, the plans I create will have more simplicity making it more black and white. I want my plans to be laid out in a fashion that any teacher could read and teach, but, not be text-heavy. In order to achieve this goal, I believe I need to utilize the resources around me. I will lean on fellow teachers, my TA, and UC to ensure the plans I develop are efficient and unblemished. I believe this goal is a very authentic goal for myself as I begin my time as an educator. It will teach me to be more engaging and having lessons that are student-teacher oriented. I hope by the end of the five-week practicum it will give me the opportunity to achieve this goal and improve my planning as an educator.
